About Us

Pastor Steve and Lisa Garvey were set in as Senior Pastors on January 5th 2020 at Abundant Life Church. They served as Youth Pastors from 2006 to 2016 at Abundant Life Church.

Pastor Steve is a native of Germantown in Philadelphia, PA. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in November of 1998 and was baptized six months later. He was a member at Evangel Assembly of God in Aberdeen, MD. He served as the men's ministry leader and a Deacon.

Pastor Steve is a dedicated leader with the goal of leading others to Christ while assisting them in becoming mature and productive servants of Christ. Pastor Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology, which he received from Covenant Bible College.

Pastor Lisa leads worship, teaches, and is the head of administration at Abundant Life Church. Pastor Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology, which she received from Covenant Bible College. She has worked in various ministries over the years in worship, youth, children's ministry, and administration.

Pastor Steve and Lisa have been married 24 years and have 2 sons, David and Matthew, and 4 beautiful grandchildren.
